A full diagnostic assessment to diagnose dyslexia is a very thorough assessment of learning or work needs using diagnostic assessments. All assessors should hold an AMBDA and/or an APC, which allows them to practice under UK guidelines. This assessment will determine whether you have dyslexia or not. Either way, a full assessment is undertaken and full report provided within 21 days. The assessment takes 3 hours and can be undertaken at your home or my office. There will be short breaks between each assessment, which will cover underlying ability, phonological awareness, processing speeds, working memory, reading, spelling and writing. The charge for the full assessment is £450, with a non-refundable £150 deposit paid on booking and £300 due 7 days in advance.
